Our Community Gala celebrates philanthropy for social change. This year, almost 300 members of the North Star Fund community of supporters and community groups turned out.
The North Star Fund Award recognizes individuals committed to social change in the service of equality, economic justice and peace. At the 2007 Community Gala, we honored:

The North Star Fund Frederick Douglass Award recognizes grantees making exceptionally innovative community-driven change.
