cori schmanke parrish, Deputy Director, joined the North Star Fund staff in 2006. cori oversees financial management, manages the donor advised program, and currently staffs North Star Fund's grant making programs.

cori brings over 10 years of experience in organizing, financial management, development and administration for social justice organizations, and has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations and foundations including Virginia NARAL, Californians for Justice, San Francisco Women Against Rape, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee - San Francisco Chapter (now Arab Resource and Organizing Center), FIERCE and Stonewall Community Foundation.

cori graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University with a B.A. in liberal arts and concentrations in mathematics and women's studies.
